As of Sept 15, 2022 I was able to prepare up a Permanent Countersign on the Complimentary Personal version on my Mac (the intended remote desktop) at:
TeamViewer (in the tiptop bar)> Preferences> Avant-garde tab> Personal Countersign

I have institute a security tab in the the preferences carte du jour and take set a password just on each luanch of team viewer the ID remains the aforementioned but the four digit numerical password changes how do I make sure each computer keeps the aforementioned loging info.
I have ready an account, added a computer / device and will add a further ane or 2.
volition this insure that I dont need to worry most the 4 digit pass give-and-take irresolute ?

The 4-digit password (or however many digits y'all choose it to exist) is just analternative way of logging in, if youhaven't set a countersign for a specific automobile.
For example, if you lot remote a PC at work, and you have pre-set the password "password" for information technology, and then you can either remote-in with the password "countersign", or whatever the irresolute multi-digit code presented on-screen is.
Simply ... don't utilize "password" as your password

Tried that on a pc but didnt work - each launch it still required a unique countersign.

Thank you for posting the steps required to set a permanent password. I have followed the steps, however:
1. The password is non being saved, even though I clicked OK at the bottom of the Security page after irresolute it.
2. Only the randomly generated ID works.
Does the pw change every time? I left a session open up on a computer I need to access, but I cannot login with current pw.

I am struggling to go unattended remote admission working on :
- Macbook Air - host
- macbook Pro - invitee

I see higher up says :
"Extras > Options > Security > Personal password".
But, there is no such setting in the configurations on a Mac version of Teamviewer.
Can anyone explain how to ready the password or avoid a password for computers that are in the allowed list and wish to gain unattended access.
